Male, 47, reasonably fit and resourceful, not great sailor but been on a boat before and know how to read Compass, GPS, hold the rudder on course and cook spaghetti in a Storm. looking for passage from SA (any harbour, Durban or Richard's bay preferred) to East Africa. Zanzibar, Dar Es Salaam, or Mombasa. Would also go up to Somalia if time allows.
If possible 1-way.
I promise: Intelligent conversation, (but can also enjoy silence and "staring at the sea")ability to work and solve problems.
I have an environmental agenda and want to do something for nature and the dolphins on this trip. Pay for food and all other own cost.
As a special incentive: I have friend who will lend us her Landcruiser in Dar for some self driving to Kili or Masai Mara.
