Needa GPS and charts for my laptop. Indian Ocean area. Any advice plesae?

Hi Lloyd,
Regarding the charts you want for your laptop, rhere are a few options; Do you have Maxi Software installed on your computer ? If so, this would give you access to C Map. The B A ARCS system is expensive if you want to cover the whole Indian Ocean, but reasonable if you wanted just a few charts. Garmin appears to be your best bet, but you may need more than one zone. Go to www.garmin.com , click on maps....sea..If you want to come back to me with zone numbers, I can give you an indication on price.
Yopu mention that you wnnt a GPS ? Please give me more info...Is it a fixed unit or hand held etc ?

Thanks, I was looking at an add on for my laptop. Web is full of stuff its deciding which one.
