False Bay Yacht Club - There are no visitors moorings available from now until well into January. Contact: Heidi on 021 786 1703

Royal Cape Yacht Club - There are a few visitors moorings available at present, but it is expected that there will be no available space over the festive period and into January. Contact: David 021 421 1354 Cell: 082 899 8231

Hout Bay Yacht Club - There are a few berths available for visiting yachts under 40ft but it is advisable to contact the Hout Bay Yacht Club on 021 790 7095

One's alternative could be the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, but even that is getting crowded.

If one is intending to sail to the Cape during this season and you haven't made a prior reservation, it is advisable to phone ahead from either your last port or from a cell phone, prior to just arriving.

Safe Sailing
